Refunds & Cancellations

Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both customers and astrologers. Because astrology consultations are time-bound personal services, the rules differ slightly by plan type. Please read the section that applies to your purchase.

AI Chat Plan (₹51)

  • Before any question is asked: a full refund is available within 24 hours of purchase if you have not yet used the plan.
  • After at least one question: the plan is treated as consumed and refunds are not issued. If you experience a technical issue that blocks your remaining questions, write to us within 24 hours and we will either fix the issue or top up your quota.

Detailed Reading (₹251) · 30-Minute Consultation (₹501)

  • Cancellation more than 12 hours before the session: full refund, or free re-scheduling to a slot of your choice within 30 days.
  • Cancellation within 12 hours of the session: 50% refund, or free re-scheduling once.
  • No-show (you do not join the scheduled session): no refund is issued, but you may request a single re-scheduling at our discretion.
  • Astrologer no-show or technical failure on our side: 100% refund, or free re-scheduling with a complimentary follow-up.

1-to-1 Live Video Session (₹5,001)

  • Cancellation more than 24 hours before the session: full refund, or free re-scheduling.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of the session: 70% refund, or free re-scheduling once.
  • No-show: no refund, with one re-scheduling option at our discretion.
  • Astrologer no-show or technical failure on our side: 100% refund, or free re-scheduling with a complimentary follow-up.

Monthly Subscription

Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; no pro-rated refund is provided for the remainder of that cycle. Any unused consultation hours expire when the cycle ends.

How to request a refund or reschedule

  1. Write to info.astrofate@gmail.com with your booking reference number (printed on the receipt email).
  2. Mention whether you would like a refund or to re-schedule, and the reason for the request.
  3. We acknowledge requests within 24 working hours.
  4. Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method via Cashfree and typically reflect within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.

Non-refundable items

The following are explicitly non-refundable: free consultations (₹0), discounted promotional codes once redeemed, and any reading already delivered in full.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate the dispute to info.astrofate@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Escalation". We review escalations within 5 working days. If still unresolved, you may pursue the dispute through Cashfree's chargeback process or through the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
